Modern Smoke Jumpers - Parafoils

File Description:
Thought there might be some purists out there frowning at the previous round canopy. I have completely reworked the FX texture files to allow you to drop a number of yellow-clad smoke-jumpers in the traditional free-fall arch position from the DC-3, JU-52, DeHaviland Otter, and now the C-130. They now sport the modern parafoil chute rather than the older round canopy. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. File Description:
FS 2004 Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches 24 Volume . I am constantly amazed by the high number of simers that restrict their flying activities to small localized areas, never venturing much further than their own backyards. I can't help thinking that these simers miss out on some truly great flying experiences by confining themselves to such limited parameters. If nothing else, Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches will get you out more! Whether you are simply a local pilot flying within your own well-worn neighbourhood, or a demanding adventurous international aviator, there's something for everyone in these volumes. KOKC Flatten bgl

File Description:

Emma Field Sightseeing Tour Release III

File Description:
Fly a VFR-tour in the area around Seattle, Washington. You will need some skills of bush-flying. Included in this package are a detailed tour-description, maps (one per stage), situation- and WX-files (also per stage). You will leave from Emma Field (KEWL) and visit the following airfields: Forks (S18), Sekiu (11S), Sequim Valley (W28), Orcas Island (KORS), Lynden (38W), Israels Farm (WA56), Stehekin State (6S9), Lake Wenatchee State (27W), Skykomish State (S88), Sky Harbor (S86), Bandera State (4W0), Easton State (KESW), Trout Lake (66WA), Mt.St.Helens Aero Ranch (WN10), Seaside Muni (56S), Westport (14S) and Cricket Field (4WA2), before you return to Emma Field. This tour is based on the products Emma Field (Lago), GeoRender 5 (Lago), GeoRender 6 (Lago) and Orcas Island (FSAddon), but can also be flown without (one of) these. Enjoy.

HTML File Replacment for the Kneeboard Briefing Notes

File Description:
Out of frustration toggling between FS9 and my internet browser, I modifed the nobrief.htm file saved in the FS9/Uires folder to include current time and hyperlinks to both aviation and regular weather reports and world maps/timezones. Feel free to modify to suit your own needs.

Render To Texture DXT-3 Chrome Texture Problem Correction

File Description:
I have received countless e-mails from Simmers stating that when they started flying aircraft that I have re-painted utilizing DXT-3 file formats, their aircraft appeared black and did not have that "Reflective Chrome" appearance.
