Piaggio / Focke Wulf FW P-149D - German Air Force 92+14

File Description:
This "High Reality Repaint" requires the previous installation of the Piaggio P-149D package for FS2004 by Mario Noriega (mn_p149d.zip + p149_fix.zip - to be found here at AVSIM). The repaint represents one of those "Piggis" manufactured under licence of Piaggio by Focke Wulf in Bremen, Germany, and was operated in the early 70th by 3rd Squadron ("Fliegende Staffel") of GAF Weapon School 49/50 (WaSLw 49/50), the later Fighter Bomber Wing 49 (JaboG 49), all once based at Fürstenfeldbruck ('Fursty') AFB near Munich in Bavaria, Germany. Repaint of Boeing E767-27C Awacs 'Thunder Head' 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "War Dog" - Ace Combat 5. He supports the War Dog Squadron through out the war. He is commonly referred to as Thunder "Block Head" by Chopper. After the War Dog are shot down, he is assigned to another squadron. Thunder Head supports the 8492nd TFS as they pursue the War Dog during their escape. When the War Dog disappear, then reappear, Thunder Head vectors Marcus Snow onto them and they are shot down.
