Nick's Space Shuttle Landing Challenge FINAL RELEASE

File Description:
Featuring the Space Shuttle Discovery and celebrating NASA's return to space! This package contains the most up to date version of my Space Shuttle Landing Challenge (v1.2). I am providing it as a FINAL single installation package to eliminate the need for multiple update files. This package includes the Space Shuttle Discovery redesigned using actual NASA-Boeing mechanical/aeronautical engineering data, a panel, sounds and shuttle landing FX. The space shuttle in the sim (like the real shuttle) has the ability to water 'ditch' and belly land in an emergency or if improperly landed on the suspension system. You can select the sensitivity of the main landing gear struts (less crashes) for those who are novice to flying critical tolerances. This package includes a CHALLENGE FLIGHT ADVENTURE PACKAGE and features a reference list of the flights along with approach/landing procedure tips to the kneeboard (F-10) for you to refer to while in flight. The adventure pack will provide a set of 11 challenge flights spanning the globe for the space shuttle re-entry simulation. A Bonus PACK of CrashBar effects including smoke, fire, explosions and other nasty reminders of landing mistakes is included as an optional installation. The original .mdl file is by Matthew Moxon and a modified for FS9 panel byTom Kellner. Model repaint, flight dynamics, air file, sound.cfg, adventure flights and shuttle landing\crash FX by Nick Needham. Includes NASA's description of the entire landing process which you can now experience in Flight Simulator! This package includes an install for FS2002 as well and supersedes all other update packages. ENJOY! Nick Needham, [email protected]

DSB Designs BAe Systems T-45 Goshawk, complete package

File Description:
DSB Designs BAe Systems T-45 Goshawk, complete package. This aircraft is one of five Hawk packages that the restructured DSB Design team made available on their site as freeware; but the download link broke after only a few days; and I was one of the fortunate ones able to get the aircraft. After consulting with both David Brice and the AVSIM staff; all were generous enough to give consent for me to post these excellent aircraft here for general download. This file is unaltered, just as I downloaded it from the site. Aircraft models and textures by DSB systems. Thanks very much David, and AVSIM. Uploaded by Michael Pearson

Dassault-Breguet Mirage F1

File Description:
This is a Gmax rework of my Mirage F1V2.0. It is a complete package with a simple 2D panel, sounds and With their permission, I've also included the gauges from Romain Lucas and Laurent Lucas's SUPER ETENDARD. There are four F1 versions within this package (VR cockpits are all CR models). They are the F1C, F1AZ, F1CR and F1CT.
I've added all new textures, a new custom soundset and added many Gmax features to improve realism. One of the major improvements to this plane is the addition of an ALL NEW more realistic looking Virtual cockpit. There are 6 loadout configurations and six paint schemes.
In the F1C models you can view the entire aircraft from the VRcockpit. Allowing for great Active Camera shots. I've included three Active Camera preset files for this purpose.
