The HP81 Hermes was a British airliner from 1948, used by BOAC for its African routes in the early 1950s, and then by various charter companies for the next 10 years. FS2004 DH 106 Comet 1 and 2 ver 2.0. The worlds first jetliner. The Comet 1 entered sevice with BOAC in 1952, initially on the route from London to Johannesburg. This package includes liveries for BOAC, Air France, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF Comet 1's, and BOAC and RAF Comet 2's. Version 2 model by Jens B. Kristensen, sounds by Mike Hambly, Benoit Plamondon and Mark Cranston (Aeromusica). For FS2004, FSX users should download Comet_V20X.zip instead.

File Description:
This early 'flying wing' was converted from its two-seated predecessor, the H-Vb, into a single-seated aircraft. It was driven by two pusher propellers, each powered by a Hirth-HM60R aircooled engine of 80 hp. The aircraft could reach a max. speed of 260 km/hr.
The original paintings were in standard Luftwaffe camouflage, assigned to the code PE + HO.
The H-Vc made its first flight on May 26, 1942.
It was extensively tested at the military airfield in Goettingen as a experimental platform to study the aerodynamics of flying wings until it crashed in 1943.

This is Version 2 of the Consolidated C-87 Liberator Express.
A new model.mdl has been created and besides all original Version 1 features such as opening cargo door, loading ramp and textures for both the USAAF and RAF it now also has working cowl flaps, wheel chocks and pilot's heads which turn in direction of the bank.
The panel folder contains the basic Alphasim B-24D panel with a modified panel.bmp which omits the astrodome fitted just forward of the B-24D bomber cockpit.
Wing/engine views can now be seen from the cockpit side windows.
The original Alphasim B-24D VC panel is also incorporated.

File Description:
The Fiat C.R.42 was a single-seat fighter biplane which served primarily in Italy's Regia Aeronautica just before and during World War II. The aircraft was produced by the Turin firm, and also served, in smaller numbers, with the air forces of Belgium, Sweden and Hungary. With more than 1,800 built, it was the most widely produced Italian aircraft to take part in World War II. The Fiat C.R.42 was the last of the Fiat biplane fighters to see combat and represented the epitome of the type. RAF Intelligence praised its exceptional maneuverability, further noting that the plane was immensely strong. The Fiat C.R.42 made its combat debut with the Belgian Air Force, over Belgium on 10th May 1940. Complete aircraft, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls.
Package includes many different liveries (Regia Aeronautica/Belgian Air Force/Swedish Air Force/Hungarian Air Force). VC only.
